Michael Peters

Michael Peters is a Research Scientist in NTT Research’s MEI Lab, where his work concentrates on building artificial cardiac tissues for regenerative implantable devices and in vitro disease models. His research centers on biomaterials and the control of biotic–abiotic interfaces in engineered tissues to advance therapeutic and regenerative applications.
Previously, Michael’s work focused on the design and application of additive manufacturing techniques for heart valves and vascular implants, with particular emphasis on pediatric patients.
Michael holds both a PhD and a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Harvard University.
